How can you
sustain success?
"A proper diversity strategy begins the day
after the equity plan has been completed."
Diversity at Work
Transformation is not complete until the changes from Stage
Four are embedded in the corporate culture. Change that
becomes part of the organization's norms and shared values no
longer require an external influence.
Sustainability comes through using tools designed to
monitor, control, and re-adjust any initiative. In this
stage, use the Equity Index™ to review your progress on all
goals and timetables. In addition, you are reintroduced
to measurement tools at scheduled intervals to update key data
on systemic and attitudinal inequities.
Your roadmap guides you towards your vision. Be
prepared for unanticipated roadblocks and stops along the
way. You will need to alter course and make
adjustments. And regular tune-ups will keep you on the
road and lead you to success.
At the end of the TES process, you will prove externally
and internally that you are closer to creating your ideal
workplace and moving towards a "5" on the Equity
Continuum™.
You've built your strategies, put your plans in place, and
identified the milestones. The challenge is to stay the
course. Stage Five is dedicated to sustaining success by
integrating the transformational change into the
organization's culture.
"Our sights are set on being an employer of
choice, and we have a clear roadmap of how we're going to get
there."
